I am Bonita Quinney and I have been interested in art for most of my life, as far back as a child. I started out with pencil sketches and pastels. Later, my main focus was working with oil paintings, always in my spare time. I progressed to watercolor paintings after much coaxing by my husband and only after he purchased a watercolor set for me as a gift. Now, watercolor paintings are my main focus. I have studied under artists Doug Brown and Sue Hand.

Over the past several years my watercolor paintings have been displayed at many art shows, galleries, art festivals, and auctions, resulting in many awards and sales. I find watercolors to be very intriguing, exciting and challenging.
